Manage Game Play
DojoKidz is an interactive character builder game, designed to encourage physical fitness through the learning of martial arts. Because DojoKidz is so much fun it may be difficult to monitor game play. Here are a few tips that may help.
1) Use DojoKidz as a reward. Allow game play only after the child has done homework, chores or his martial arts class etc.
2) Decide up front how much time they are allowed to spend playing DojoKidz. Structure will help develop self discipline.
3) Have you child enroll in a martial arts academy that uses DojoKidz. Your child will learn some valuable skills and will receive upgrades for there DojoKid when they go to class.
DojoKidz Building Healthy Minds and Bodies
In the dojo section of our game your child can upgrade their DojoKidz character by teaching it a technique. They must complete a typing tutor in order to have their character master the movements. We purposely designed the game this way because we believe learning can be fun.
One other way to boost up a characters status is by going to martial arts classes as well as completing online workouts. Once the child completes a class they will be rewarded with honor tokens. These tokens can be cashed in for character upgrades.
How do we play the game?
You will need a character card to get started. You can purchase one from our store or receive one for free from one of our supporting martial arts schools. You can upgrade your character with honor stickers, technique of the month cards and technique packs. Honor stickers and Technique of the month cards must be earned from a martial arts school. Technique packs are available for sale in our online store.
What style is represented by DojoKidz?
Our game is not style specific. In fact the technique cards will have a listing of a technique and explain what style is represented.
